  • State Fellowship Award Winners Announced

    Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation administers individual artist fellowship programs for the Delaware Division of the Arts, Maryland State Arts Council, New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. This year, the Foundation received over 1,800 applications from across all four states. For lists of fellowship recipients, please click on the links below:

    Performing Arts Exchange 2008 Artist Showcase Applications Available

    Attention Artists! The Performing Arts Exchange 2008 is scheduled to take place in Atlanta, GA September 24 -28, 2008 and Artist Showcase applications are now available. Whether you are an established artist trying to connect with new venues or an emerging artist entering into the touring industry, showcasing at the Performing Arts Exchange can be a great way to have your work seen by presenters as they decide which artists to book for their upcoming seasons. Showcase applications for PAE 2008 are available online. All materials are due by March 28, 2008.

    ArtsCONNECT and USAI Spring Deadlines

    ArtsCONNECT
    March 24, 2008 marks the ArtsCONNECT application deadline for consortium projects taking place between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009. MAAF has introduced a new eGRANT application process for the 2008 round. The ArtsCONNECT eGRANT application is now available.     USAI Round II
    The second round application deadline for USArtists International funding is May 5, 2008 for projects taking place July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. This is a RECEIPT deadline not a postmarked deadline. To review the guidelines and complete an application, click here.

    USArtists International targets support for U.S. dance and music ensembles and focuses on the 27 countries that comprise the European Union; Russia and Ukraine. Grants are available to U.S. dance and music ensembles that have been invited to participate in international festivals in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

    We are excited to welcome Ann Daly to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh this April. She will lead workshops for performing artists on the topics of branding and managing their businesses.     16 PennPAT Showcases at PA Presenters Conference
    The PA Presenters Conference will be Wednesday- Friday, May 28-30, 2008 in Harrisburg, PA. PennPAT is pleased to produce sixteen roster artist showcases at the conference. A complete list of showcasing artists will be available on our website very shortly! For more information about the conference including registration, hotel and a detailed schedule, visit the official conference site. PennPAT Travel Grants may be available to presenters interested in attending the conference and seeing the showcases. The deadline for submitting the application is April 16, 2008 (6 weeks prior to the conference). Contact Katie West at katie@pennpat.org for more details.
