On Thursday, November 2, 2023 Mid Atlantic friends and guests gathered at The Kimmel Cultural Campus in the Hamilton Gardens to celebrate the 2023 Living Legacy Jazz Award Presented by PECO honoree, drummer and educator Billy Hart.
In addition to the Award ceremony and dessert reception, guests were treated to a special performance by Khary Abdul-Shaheed on Drums, Dylan Band on Sax, Alex Claffy on Bass, and George Colligan on Keys. And the end of their set, Mr. Hart sat in for a number and surprised the crowd!
