March 2021 USArtists International Deadline Approaching
|
|
The March 31, 2021 deadline to submit an application to USArtists International (USAI) is fast approaching. If you have an engagement at an international festival between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022, whether it's virtual or in person, you may be eligible to receive funding.
USArtists International (USAI) is a grant program of Mid Atlantic Arts in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Arts that supports performances by U.S. dance, music, and theater ensembles and solo artists invited to perform at important cultural festivals and performing arts marketplaces anywhere in the world outside the United States and its territories.
Virtual Performances are Eligible!
While USAI will continue to accept applications for travel engagements, a new virtual track has opened to accommodate artists whose eligible international engagements are offering an option to present their work digitally. Eligible virtual performances can be live-streamed, pre-recorded, or a combination of both. Please review the guidelines for more information on how to apply for virtual-engagement support.
Project Window
The March 31, 2021 deadline is for applicants seeking funding for performances scheduled between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 . Artists/ensembles can apply for up to three engagements on a single application, including a mix of virtual or travel engagements. Please review the guidelines for more details.
