The 2025 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowships rules and instructions and application are now available! Practicing New Jersey artists are eligible for fellowships through an anonymous application process.
The 2025 Individual Artist Fellowship categories are:
- Choreography
- Crafts
- Music Composition
- Photography
- Playwriting/Screenwriting
- Poetry
- Sculpture
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 5PM ET.

Mid Atlantic Tours Roster Interest Form
The 2025-2026 Roster Artist Interest Form for Mid Atlantic Tours is available! Read the overview here.
The Roster Artist Interest Form is not a grant application, and selection to the Mid Atlantic Tours roster does not constitute a grant award from Mid Atlantic Arts. Artists selected to the roster will work with a tour manager (engaged by the artist) and Mid Atlantic Arts staff to determine subsidy awards made directly to presenters in the mid-Atlantic region for presentation of the roster artist for projects touring between
July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026.
The FY26 Roster Artist Interest Form will be open for submissions until Monday, June 24, 2024.

National Museum of African American History and Culture Juneteenth Commmunity Day (Washington, DC)

paulA neves (she/they) is a 2024-2025 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Individual Arts Fellow in the prose category. She is a writer, filmmaker, and educator whose work explores LGBTQIA identity and the Portuguese-American immigrant experience.
